Hard Rock Hotel Casino Sacramento announces fundraising effort to support Ukraine Hard Rock Cafe joins in international round up campaign

(Wheatland, CA --April 7, 2022) -- Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain today will

join an international fundraising effort through the Hard Rock Café to support Ukraine through World

Central Kitchen (WCK). Hard Rock Cafe guests can add a contribution to this effort during the

payment process where they can “round up” their transaction to include a contribution. The promotion

will be ongoing, no end date has been announced for the program. Hard Rock Café at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain is located at 3317 Forty Mile Rd, Wheatland, CA 95692.

World Central Kitchen (WCK) is first to the frontlines, providing meals in response to humanitarian,

climate, and community crises. When disaster strikes, WCK’s Chef Relief Team mobilizes to the

frontlines with the urgency of now to start cooking and provide meals to people in need. Deploying its

model of quick action, leveraging local resources, and adapting in real time, it is able to respond to

multiple disasters at once —often on opposite ends of the world. By partnering with organizations on

the ground and activating a network of food trucks or emergency kitchens, WCK provides freshly made,

nutritious meals to survivors of disasters quickly and effectively. Good food provides not

only nourishment, but also comfort and hope, especially in times of crisis. Direct donations can also be

made here.

“We honor Hard Rock’s mottos, ‘Love All, Serve All’ and ‘Take Time to be Kind’, and this effort is another effective way to support our international mission, from right here in Northern California. Sacramento is also home to a robust Ukrainian community, so it was important to us to join this effort both locally and internationally,” explained Mark Birtha, President of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain.
